Houston Dynamo

Houston Dynamo - Owned by the Anschutz Entertainment Group, the Houston Dynamo moved from San Jose, California, in December of 2005, and played their first MLS game on April 2nd, 2006. Proving to the fans that they were here to stay, the Dynamo won back-to-back MLS Cup Championships in 2006 and 2007. In return, the fans showed their support by averaging a crowd of 19,000 per home game in 2006 as well as three consecutive crowds of more than 30,000 in 2007. Adding a bit of celebrity to their success on the field is equity partners Oscar De La Hoya and the Brener International Group.
