Seattle Sounders FC - The Seattle Sounders FC became the fifteenth MLS franchise on November 12, 2007. After having played in only one full season (2009), the Sounders FC have garnered success beyond that of its fans imaginations, winning the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and making it to the MLS Cup Playoffs in its inaugural season. Qwest Field is home to more season ticket holders than any MLS Club, ever. They too, have the only marching band (The Sound Wave) in MLS with fifty three members and a passionate fan base behind them for every home game. Celebrity and Price Is Right game show host, Drew Carey, is the chairman of the Sounders FC Alliance which brings its supporters together to vote on the direction of the team.
